[CHARACTER DESCRIPTION]
"Long was the night.

In a bleak and empty world, The Nightlord wandered; endlessly, tirelessly. A warrior whose whole identity was lost to the eons. From his despair, azure rains fell, sweeping across realms and engulfing all things in disastrous, blue flame.

From his anguish, a Great Rune was born. With this rune, the coming of Night washed over, pouring down a fiery wrath, to punish the world. All worlds.

Inevitably, a stoic few rose to face the Night. To put a final end to the suffering. The Nightlord fought with a strength beyond comprehension, but eventually, he was whittled down by these strange warriors, whom had banded together expressly to end the ceaseless Night.

The warrior known only as the Wylder stepped forth, clutching a pearlescent item in his palm. He examined the now lifeless husk of The Nightlord which knelt before him, and as the Wylder began to clutch the item he held... it melted. Shocked, the Wylder glanced back at the Nightlord and...

Fog.
It emanated from the Primordial Rune within its chest, flowing like water and saturating the sand beneath them both. As the Fog rose higher and higher by the second, surrounding both The Nightlord and the Wylder, the Wylder prepared for the worst. He gripped his greatsword, swung it above his head, and plunged it down towards The Nightlord's Rune.

The Wylder's allies never saw him, nor The Nightlord, again.
But the rains never ceased.
Echoes of lost souls filled the minds of the remaining warriors, now without a cause. Without a plan. Without an enemy.

Long was the night."

[POWER] Night Unceasing
The Nightlord's tragedy manifests itself as a torrential downpour of fiery rain, reducing everything in its wake to ash. His anguish created a Primordial Rune, enabling a power that rivals even the Outer Gods.

[Passive Ability: Wrathful Rainfall]
At the start of the Trial, after 60 seconds have passed, a storm of rainfall will cover the entire map, slightly darkening it. Once it begins, Wrathful Rainfall lasts for 2 minutes before subsiding, going on yet another 60-second cooldown.

Survivors caught in the rain will begin to burn with bright blue flames along their bodies, which will damage them over time. To mitigate this, Survivors must find and pick up Wending Graces, which will begin spawning during the rainfall. Survivors lose 1 health state upon being in the rainfall for a total of 1 minute without a Wending Grace.

[Survivor Item: Wending Grace]
Once picked up, Wending Graces provide complete immunity to Wrathful Rainfall, but begin decaying while under the rainfall's presence.

Additionally, certain special attacks from The Nightlord can shatter a Wending Grace immediately upon hit, preventing the Survivor from taking damage from that attack, but rendering them vulnerable to the rain or other special attacks.

Basic Attacks will always damage Survivors regardless, and will damage held Wending Graces by 50%

[Killer Ability 1: Phalanx of Night]
Press and hold the Power Button to stand still and channel the Primordial Rune, emanating a cluster of purple projectiles from The Nightlord. The Nightlord can see the auras of these projectiles as he directs them.

While holding the Power Button, The Nightlord can direct the projectiles in any direction, though they are constantly flying forward. If the projectiles hit an object, or damage a Survivor, they dissolve. A Survivor can only be damaged once per casting of this ability, individually. (Multiple projectiles hitting a Survivor all at once will only damage them once.)

If a Survivor is carrying a Wending Grace upon hit, the Wending Grace will lose 70% of its durability upon hit, preventing the Survivor from being damaged.
(15s cooldown, 2s windup, 1s recovery when attack ends)

[Killer Ability #2: Slashes of Night]
Press and hold the Ability Button to channel the Moonlight Greatsword, charging up a forward-flying, horizontal arc of pure night energy. This attack can be chained up to 3 times, dependent on how many Survivors currently hold Wending Graces. (3 Wending Graces = 3 special attacks)

The Nightlord's movement is hindered drastically while using Slashes of Night, but upon chaining 3 attacks, The Nightlord will perform a long-range piercing dash attack to finish. The initial projectile arcs will dissolve on obstacles, but any pieces of the arc that don't hit an obstacle will continue to fly forward, and can still deal damage.

A single hit from Slashes of Night will immediately destroy any held Wending Graces.
(2s initial windup, 1s per chained projectile, 20m range on projectiles + dash attack, 3s recovery when power ends, movement slowed by 20% while firing, the dash attack can destroy and pierce through downed pallets/breakable walls)

[Killer Ability #3: Cataclysm of Night]
After 4 Wending Graces have been destroyed, while holding the Power Button and channeling Phalanx of Night, The Nightlord can alternatively press the Attack Button.

This causes The Nightlord to teleport to the centermost spot on the map, float vertically into the air while engulfing his weapon in Night energy, then come crashing down in a virulent explosion. The detonation impact forms an "X" shape from his position, and stretches map-wide. Afterwards, randomly around the map, Night energy will rupture from beneath the ground.

During this time, Wrathful Rainfall cannot activate, but Wending Graces will begin spawning, similar to it. The initial and final explosions will shatter any Wending Graces immediately upon hit, but the ground ruptures will only reduce Wending Grace durability by 20% per hit. Otherwise, all attacks deal 1 health state.

After 60 seconds, The Nightlord will forcibly be lifted into the air, charge up one final attack, then crash down into the earth once again, causing Cataclysm of Night to end.
(5s windup, X-shaped explosion has a width of 12 meters, downed pallets and breakable walls caught in the explosions will be destroyed)

[PERKS]
•Sin of the Erdtree
When you hook a Survivor, this perk activates.

The next time you damage a Survivor with a Special Attack, once that Survivor vaults a window, block that window for all Survivors for 6/8/10 seconds. Then this perk deactivates.

•Altered Fate
After kicking a generator, it becomes compromised, highlighting its aura in yellow to both the Killer and Survivors.

If a Survivor begins repairing the compromised generator, all other generators become blocked for 10/20/30 seconds. Only one generator can be compromised at a time.

•Restless Night
Once all generators are completed and the Exit Gates become powered, this perk activates.

Survivors that become downed with Basic Attacks can no longer recover from the dying state on their own, and their crawling speed is reduced by 15%/20%/25%
