Just got my first P100

I finally got Skull Merchant to P100 and I couldn’t be happier, I’ve been here since the release of Sadako and while I started up as a baby Wraith player the moment Skull Merchant got her first rework I was locked the hell in even after she was gutted due to the nerfs and now that she’s finally maxed out, I really don’t know who to do next. Maybe it’ll be Springtrap, maybe it’ll be Trapper, maybe even D&D Vecna. But yeah, that’s all I wanted to say have a good day and let me know when the Merchant update is coming.

Congratulations! After prestiging my first 100 survivor i went and prestiged a killer to 100 so i could have an "elite" on either side to play as. Might be worth prestiging a survivor next unless you mainly play killer

I’m mostly a 50/50 but honestly I think you have a point. On the survivor side I mainly play Orela, Yoichi, and Hanako after that skin was added since I didn’t own Cheryl before that.

could you explain how to use her drones properly? o have used her a few times but not spent much time practicing her and i have watched videos of her matches but im not really understanding what value drones are actually providing. I find the little radar hard to understand or whats causing it to pop up because i dont recall her power saying why her radar shows people sometimes and not always and i couldnt tell if my drones were accomplishing anything when using her

1. I like placing them and typically high traffic areas that chain together or high priority loops that are near generators. One of my favorite drone placements is on the table in dead dawg saloon since it can scan both the bottom and second floor in the main building, and ramp in the main building of Ormond Lake mine for the exact same reason.
   
2. Keep in mind that your drones similar to Trickster knives and Deathslinger’s gun can actually scan through small gaps. The only difference is that merchant can do it a bit more consistently since her drone doesn’t follow the same logic as a projectile.
   
3. Since skull merchant has had her stealth moved from deploying a drone to recalling a drone this now means that skull merchant has a lot more control on whether or not she wants to be undetectable at that time. This means now if she wants to mind game people with stealth chicken instead just recall a drone and gain undetectable that way instead of having a very obvious tell by placing a drone in the survivor seeing the big orange ring around it, knowing that she’s stealthy.
   
4. don’t just set and forget about your drones using your radar to change which direction your drone is rotating in is pivotal to playing this killer properly. A very simple way of thinking about it is imagine you’re chasing a survivor around a T&L wall they’re about to get scanned by your drone when all of a sudden they crouch and as they’re about to get back up, you rotate the drone immediately back into them so that they get a scan and possibly a claw trap if you’re keeping track of how many times you’ve scanned them. That and skull merchant gets a 5% speed boost after scanning a survivor with a recently rotated drone or a recently placed a drone. This can also compound on top of the 12% hinder at base kit from scanning a claw trapped survivor.
   
5. survivors do not get scanned if they are crouching, doing an objective, or standing still. This means that survivors can just force skull merchant a normal injury and while there is no way to really counter, somebody that is just holding the crouch button the entire time aside from just punching them with your budget predator claw, but that’s why I like running rapid brutality for that exact reason so that I still get some value after the basic attack.
   
6. as perk options I’ve already mentioned corrupt intervention and the niche usage of rapid brutality, but as for some other ones turn back the clock is a good one since kicking generators just slows down the pace of merchant that, and having a perk that can damage it remotely and consistently means that she doesn’t have to slow down on doing merchant things, disillusion is one of the best Chase perks for her since if you injure somebody with a claw trap from your drone disillusion will still activate which means you won’t have to wait for your basic attack cool down and if they vault the pallet that’s just the easiest double tap of the century at that point. Surge is also good since she’s really only gonna be downing with her basic attack, but I prefer to the clock at the end of the day since it gives me more control on which generator I want to damage. That and if they just lead you away from the area where they’re getting generators done they will and you won’t really get any value from the surge, bamboozle is also really good since you can shut down windows and force survivors in the situations that they would rather not be in and it’s especially nasty when combined with disillusion cause that just means you have both pallets and windows covered when it comes to chasing, and lastly literally any and all hex perks since she can defend them with her drones.
   
7. A lot of people don’t know about this, but skull merchants drones will deploy where you press the button and not when the animation ends. That’s why sometimes it looks like it flies back to where previously were even though you were trying to deploy it somewhere else.
   
8. one more thing is that your drone when you place it will always begin to rotate to the right so if you truly feel like it, you can run to the left next to a survivor deploy a drone and try to instantly scan them if the survivor doesn’t know about that trick.

I think that’s about most of the stuff I’m able to tell you if you wanna learn a bit more about merchant there’s a Guide made by Pixel Bush thats extremely helpful and its also where I got a majority of what I know from. Hope I was able to help a bit.

playing a lot of Merchant will probably make you pop off on other killers once you get to use real powers. Those poor survivors won't stand a chance
