Please give us a Killer Rotation Feature like with maps.

A few years ago I would have understood that a thing like that would be impossible when you still could swap killers in the lobby but right now this should perfectly be possible to implement in the game as a toggle option.

If you enable it you can't face the same killer back to back. If you don't care that you go against Jason or new Killer XY for the 49292 time in a row then leave the option disabled but please give others a chance to face a different killer. I even take a Ghoul.

    Hmm. Interesting idea but i think during normal matchmaking it's not really necessary. And during the post release "everyone wants to play the new killer" phase it would absolutely tank matchmaking times. Both for those who opt to avoid repeating killers and the killer queue time would be way worse than it already is in the post release rush

    Or we could not screw with matchmaking, which is fundamentally a bad idea in general. It's not needed normally (if you want more push for killer variety we can buff half the roster thanks), and it would destroy matchmaking during new releases.

    You'd just be extending matching times for alot of people, most likely killers but also survivors, so a few people can try to cherry pick games. You're also likely to force the game to make a significantly higher mismatch of players finding said games for a worse experience overall.

    Stop suggesting this. Just, all of you stop suggesting this. It's never going to happen and never should. This would be TERRIBLE, and wouldn't actually make less played killers more popular. It'd just muck up queues.

    I get the idea and thought about this multiple times as well. Something like a veto option or whatever. Personally I would rather face Nurse or Blight over Legion or Wesker any day as an example.

    But the issues it would cause would completely outweigh any benefit it maybe could bring.

    • queue times would get horrendous; like 2v8 solo killer horrendous for basic 1v4 games - or even worse
    • killers who are considered unfun by large portions of the community would probably go extinct because of the first issue with queue times
    • the player base is very diverse and has very diverse understanding of fun; if you play solo q survivor and each of the four people has the option enabled and it counts for 4 different killers, then…well let's just say I don't think the game and the queues could handle that adequately…

    So no. It is probably not the best idea to implement such a feature.

    if we can have map showcases why can't we have killer showcases? get stacking BP multiplier for each teachable slapped on so you use at least one, maybe.
