Suggestion for The Twins: Charlotte Haste + Victor Exit-Gate Hold

I wanted to suggest a quality-of-life/balance change for The Twins that would help make Victor’s latch feel more consistent, especially near exit gates.

When Victor latches onto a Survivor, Charlotte could gain a brief Haste effect to help her follow up before the Survivor removes Victor. This could either be base-kit or an add-on effect. For example:

After Victor latches onto a Survivor, Charlotte gains 5% Haste for 8–10 seconds. This effect ends early if Charlotte hits a Survivor, if Victor is removed, or if the Survivor enters the dying state.

This would reward good positioning and quick follow-up without making the latch an automatic down. Survivors would still have counterplay by removing Victor, using distance, reaching strong tiles, or forcing Charlotte to spend the Haste duration inefficiently.

I also think there should be a specific interaction near exit gates. Currently, Victor can latch onto a Survivor and prevent them from leaving, but if Charlotte follows up and downs that Survivor near the exit gate, the Survivor can sometimes crawl out anyway. This makes Victor’s exit-blocking effect feel pointless in that situation.

A possible fix could be:

If Charlotte downs a Survivor while Victor is attached to them, and that Survivor is within or very close to the exit-gate escape area, Victor briefly remains on the Survivor instead of immediately returning to Charlotte. Victor plays a short animation where he grabs onto the Survivor and holds them in place, preventing them from crawling through the exit gate for a short duration, such as 3 seconds.

This would not be a general chase buff because it would only trigger when the Survivor is already near the exit threshold. It also makes sense thematically: Victor was already latched onto the Survivor, so if Charlotte knocks them down right at the gate, Victor should continue helping stop them from escaping instead of instantly disappearing.

The hold should end early if Charlotte picks the Survivor up. Teammates would still have normal counterplay after the pickup, such as flashlight saves, pallet saves, body-blocking, or protection hits. The goal would not be to guarantee a hook, but to stop the strange situation where Victor successfully blocks the exit while attached, only for Charlotte’s successful follow-up hit to allow the Survivor to crawl out.

Together, these changes would make The Twins feel smoother and more consistent:

  • The Haste effect helps Charlotte capitalize on Victor’s latch in normal gameplay.
  • The Victor hold specifically fixes the exit-gate issue without giving Charlotte an unfair map-wide grab or instant pickup.
  • Survivors would still have counterplay before and after the down.

I think this would make Victor’s latch feel more meaningful while keeping the power fair and readable for both sides.
