The Nightmare || Alarm clocks nerf
Since The Nightmare got a rework which made his abilities stronger, alarm clocks became more accessible to compensate for the buff. However, their accessibility was increased too heavily in relation to the killer's reworked kit. The alarm clocks are now so common around the map that you can wake up via an alarm clock almost for free shortly after falling asleep. And if another survivor uses an alarm clock in front of your face, they can just perform the 'wake up' action on you.
While survivors take 60 seconds to fall asleep and this can be sped up in a chase, I appeal to make the alarm clocks a less popular option to wake up, especially since survivors can already wake up by having another awake survivor wake them up, or by failing a skillcheck.
Currently, there are 5 alarm clocks in the trial which take 45 seconds to respawn when used, providing very wide availability.
I suggest the following minor changes:
- Survivors can only see auras of the active alarm clocks within a 40m radius (currently all active alarm clocks are visible)
- Alarm clocks now take 60 seconds to restore when used (currently 45s)
- (OPTIONAL CHANGE) The number of alarm clocks present in the trial is reduced to 4 (currently 5)
This issue is similar to The Singularity in the PTB state, where EMPs were so available that survivors could cleanse themselves and disarm the bio cameras almost instantly if not in a chase.
I'm writing this feedback both with experience of playing as The Nightmare, and from the perspective of a survivor playing against this killer.
And although this is only a minor issue, I think it'd be a healthy change.

i think this is a good change because when im survivor literally no one is in sleep state for more than like 5s because theres an alarm clock every 2 meters so this would be a good change imo
Alarm clocks shouldn't make you immune even if its for a short duration this is constantly used aggressively and is unfun to play against
