The Parasite-An Original Chapter Concept
A parasitic alien lifeform native to Dvarka, the same planet that Gabriel Soma's crew landed and where The Singularity was born. A bulbous, almost pumpkin shaped head atop a tangled mess of trailing tentacles, barbed with small hooks at the end. Shooting out of it's mouth is a flexible proboscis, almost like a tongue that it can pierce it's prey with and allows for the laying of eggs inside of a living host.
The killer's power has two main parts. Alien Physiology and Ovipositor. Alien Physiology is the most simple to understand so let's go over that first.
Alien Physiology: The creature's boneless body allows it to move in an unnatural way, squeezing through tight gaps and small spaces that would obstruct most organisms. By default the time taken for The Parasite to vault is reduced by 40%. They can also vault dropped pallets and even squeeze underneath breakable walls without the need to destroy them. This should allow The Parasite to vault pallets and windows in about 1 second (for reference Legion frenzy is 0.9s and survivor fast vault is 0.5s). The benefit being that it is a constant, permanent buff to the killer's base vault speed rather than a temporary boost like with Legion.
Ovipositor: When a survivor is put into the dying state, before picking them up you have the option to insert an egg into them and the survivor will now be impregnated (like when The Pig puts a reverse bear trap on a survivors head). This will consume one Ovipositor token and immediately start a 90 second timer that counts down so long as the survivor isn't in the dying state, being carried, on the hook or in chase. The survivors can remove the implanted embryo at one of four medical stations around the map. If they are successful the survivor is no longer impregnated. Failure to do so in time will result in a small Nymph bursting from the survivors body and scurrying away. The survivor is not dead but rather will have the Broken status effect for 90 seconds. The killer cannot impregnate a survivor with the Broken status effect. At the beginning of the trial the killer has 6 Ovipositor tokens and they cannot be replenished.
Nymphs: Nymphs will grow rapidly once born and after just 15 seconds will reach a juvenile phase where they are about half the size of the killer and begin wandering around the map looking for survivors. Nymphs have their Auras shown in white for the killer. If they find a survivor they will begin chasing and will attack them (just like a Nemesis zombie). They move at 101% movement speed but cannot vault and are vulnerable to being stunned by any means. Breaking line of sight for a certain amount of time will cause them to lose aggro and stunning them will make them flee for a short while before returning to wandering. If a Nymph puts a survivor into the dying state they will begin feasting on them. This prevents the downed survivor from being picked up by another survivor or crawling on the ground. To remove a Nymph, another survivor can either stun them or perform a brief kick action (like when destroying Victor when playing against The Twins).
Perks include Scourge Hook: Sustenance, Fresh Hosts and Hex: Draining.
Scourge Hook: Sustenance: At the start of the trial 4 random hooks are changed into Scourge hooks. While carrying a survivor gain 1/2/3% Haste. As long as at least one survivor is on a Scourge hook and for 10 seconds after unhooking, your lunge speed is increased by 15/20/25%
Fresh Hosts: When entering chase with a survivor the Auras of all other survivors within 12m of you are revealed to you for 4/6/8 seconds.
Hex: Draining: The first time you hook each survivor they are hexed and a dull totem ignites. Whilst this totem is active the corresponding survivor suffers from the Mangled and Haemorrhage status effect for 60/70/80 seconds whenever they are unhooked. During this time if a survivor is carrying an item they will also be Exhausted for as long as they carry it.
For the Mori I was imagining it would be similar to the impregnation animation, except The Parasite implants a bunch of eggs and all of the Nymphs burrow out of the survivor while they're still alive, leaving them like swiss cheese in a puddle of blood.
This chapter could be just the killer and perks described. You could also add a new map to the Dvarka realm, being a different alien biome more suited to this creature. I was hesitant to add a survivor for this chapter since whilst I feel that I've done a good job making this killer feel unique compared to the Singularity, if you were to make a survivor for this chapter they might be too similar to Gabriel in terms of backstory and concept. Perhaps you could find a way to make one that feels unique and maybe even has a shared backstory with Gabriel helping to tie the world together more but that is to be decided.
