Trapper Buff/mini rework idea to give him more depth
I think almost every can agree Trapper needs buffs and changes to his kit so I want you guys to let me cook and hear me out on this idea cause it sounds really stupid but I genuinely think it would improve his kit tenfold while giving him some more depth while still making him easy to play.
So my idea is he can psychedelically rearm traps from a distance, but this is a separate ability that would need to be charged through doing basic things that help towards your objective (think Dredge nightfall or Trickster style ranks but much more straightforward and faster).
since the Trapper is known to be highly disobedient to the entity, let’s imagine the entity (for whatever reason) wants the Trapper to behave so it rewards him for doing his job.
So chasing people slowly fills up the psychedelic rearm ability, damage actions or injuries fill up bigger chunks and hooks instantly fill the meter.
Once fully charged, the Trapper can call upon the entity for a favor for behaving and the entity will rearm the selected trap. This action takes around 2 or 3 seconds and does slow the Trapper down but he can still move during it. The slowdown is necessary so survivors can still reroute in chase if they have the opportunity to do so without him immediately closing off your only option. Once you use this ability it does need to be recharged like normal once more. This way the Trapper can rearm vital trap spots without needing to spend time walking over and rearming it.
Also as an extra counterplay measure, traps that survivors close cannot be psychically opened for a temporary period of time to encourage smart timing with trap closing and discouraging having somebody sniffing the Trapper’s ass all game and following him everywhere to disable all his traps instantly.

I dont think trapper should be out on killing sprees while tripping balls on mushrooms.

Think psychedelically is the wrong word, but I do get what you're getting at. Pretty cool idea and doesn't ruin him.
