2v8 Will Never Be "Fixed"
Let's be honest, 2v8 was a fun idea but in practice it's just kind of a mess. It's intended to be a Killer event, y'know, with the entire premise being 2 killers and all, but instead it's just turned into a Survivor ego booster that spoon-feeds you easy wins and that STILL isn't enough to get survivors to stop complaining and just enjoy something.
The reality is, it will never be "balanced" and never be accepted by these win-more whiners. It's just going to be a frustrating event that does nothing but entertain the "let me win" players that don't actually want to learn the game, at the expense of all but totally nuking the entire game for EVERYONE else, not just killer players but loyal survivor mains that enjoy the role for the thinking and decision-making that it brings.
I get wanting to keep the mode propped up to feed on that big surge in player counts, but long term it isn't going to do the game any good at all. Once the big surge starts shrinking, you'll be left with nothing but a husk that interrupts the game for everyone and leaves everyone feeling frustrated.
Before that happens, I think the best option is to just put 2v8 as a Custom Game option. Just remove all the weird new mechanics and such, maybe keep the Cage, and just allow perks instead of classes. 2v8 was an idea born from people messing around with friends to experiment with broken and wacky combos, that's where the draw is supposed to be, not on a balanced and coherent game mode event where everything is skewed more and more towards one side to desperately try and keep them around.
Win-More players don't respect the game and are not loyal to it's mechanics. They don't need your focus, we do. The fanbase that's been here for 10 years and stays no matter how bad things get because we want to see the game get better.
It's time to stop catering to the Win-More crowd and just give us a fun gamemode to run in Customs, stop climbing the impossible hill of pleasing selfish and spoiled people before the whole game falls off a cliff. Maybe if 2v8 is around "permanently" as an option you can do at anytime, a majority of that big surge will stay around longer, we can always hope.

Facts. Give me 2v8 with all killers amd custom builds. An 8 stack of SWF all running gen ruch against a sweaty sweaty blight and legion. Chaos would also be fun, random killer and perks.
Your post starts off really badly. Nobody other than killer mains are going to engage with this if you start off with the whole 'survivors just cri every tim' stuff.
I like both sides on 2v8, it's just a shame the queues for killer are so long. Fortunately for someone like me I can play both sides and be happy with it.
I love playing Huntress in this mode and I'd love love love if I got Trickster/Unknown
