Proposal for a Killer whose appeal lies in not having to chase much

(I'm using a translation tool because my English isn't very good)

I've come up with a Killer recommended for people who are bad at or uninterested in chasing. This description focuses on the gameplay style of the Killer and does not include character lore or world-building.

Killer: The Croupier

Power: Fatal Stakes

"The House" appears at a random location on the map. The Croupier remains there without moving and places bets. Survivors start the trial with 10 chips.

Example of activating the power:

Q: What will the Survivors do within the next minute?

A:
Repair generators
Unlock chests
Drop pallets (each pallet dropped counts as one correct guess)
Sabotage hooks

The Killer selects one of these, and a certain number of chips are taken from any Survivor who performs that action. (The number of chips taken varies by difficulty; e.g., 2 chips for repairing a generator, 10 chips for sabotaging a hook.)

If a Survivor loses all their chips, they become Injured. If they lose chips again while already Injured, they enter the Dying State.

While a bet is active, The Croupier can control an "Attendant." The Attendant has a 32m terror radius and a movement speed of 4.6m/s but has no special abilities—only a basic attack.

Survivors who stay near the Attendant for too long will gradually lose chips. Chasing with the Attendant makes it easier for the player to win bets like "dropping pallets" or "getting hooked."

Once the bet ends, the Attendant disappears, and the player returns to The Croupier's perspective to use the power again.

Survivors can also participate in gambling (Roulette of Souls). They earn a small number of chips every time they perform an action like skill checks or unlocking chests. (Skill checks might trigger randomly outside of chases, and succeeding grants chips.)

By taking these chips to The House, they can play the Roulette of Souls.

Success grants corresponding benefits (increased points, repair speed, haste for a duration, etc.). Failure results in penalties (injury, hindered, oblivious, exposed, or being unable to perform specific actions for a duration).

Betting more chips at once increases the success rate. By going "All In," Survivors can even wager their hook stages. Naturally, the rewards for winning are massive.

The Killer can also utilize "House Advantage." As the casino owner, The Croupier always has an edge.

The Killer builds House Advantage by:

Winning bets
Collecting chips from the Roulette of Souls

Once enough is accumulated, they can declare "High Stakes," which increases the risks and rewards of the next bet. This allows the Killer to aim for a comeback.

Additional Ideas:

A debt system might be interesting. Survivors who have borrowed chips could face severe penalties when those chips are collected.

Conversely, Survivors with a massive amount of chips could receive "Millionaire" perks.

It might be fun if the Killer could also go "All In" (I haven't thought of the specifics, sorry).

It might be better to distinguish between chips taken from Survivors and chips earned by Survivors. (Since chips taken act as a health bar, if Survivors can earn them too easily, the Killer would be at a major disadvantage.)

It might be more engaging if the Killer is forced to participate whenever a Survivor starts the Roulette of Souls (except during Endgame Collapse). Otherwise, while a Survivor is playing roulette, the Killer would have nothing to do but attack them with the Attendant, which might not be a fun gameplay experience. This way, both sides can enjoy the thrill of a high-stakes gamble against each other.

I haven't worked out the fine details, such as whether chips are automatically replenished after reaching zero/being rescued, or if the Attendant carries Survivors or if they are hooked automatically.

However, I'm proposing this because I think a power like this would allow people who are hesitant to play Killer to enjoy the game more casually, even if the Killer isn't top-tier.
