New Killer Concept: The Metamorphosis

​The Metamorphosis is a psychological horror Killer, capable of infiltrating Survivor groups by mimicking their physical appearance. A victim of clandestine laboratory experiments, she punishes trust and rewards careful observation, creating a constant state of paranoia within the trial.

​Visual Appearance

  • ​The Silhouette: A distorted, asymmetrical figure wearing a tattered, chemical-stained hospital gown.
  • ​Physical Traits: Choppy, uneven red hair and a mouth stitched shut with surgical thread. Her limbs are of unequal lengths; one arm is elongated and skeletal, while one leg fails to reach the ground, giving her a disturbing, limping gait.
  • ​Body Horror: Shards of laboratory glass are embedded in her skin, with intravenous needles and IV tubes still hanging from her wrists.

​Weapon: The Scavenged Apparatus

​An improvised blade fashioned from broken laboratory equipment, surgical steel, and jagged glass shards bound together by medical tape.

​Power: Adaptive Mimicry

​The Metamorphosis can suppress her physical form to mirror the subjects of her obsession.

  • ​Ability - Mirror Image: By activating the Power button, the Killer opens a selection menu to choose a specific Survivor currently in the trial. After a brief channel, The Metamorphosis transforms into an exact replica of that Survivor.
  • ​Undetectable Status: While transformed, The Metamorphosis has no Terror Radius and no Red Stain.
  • ​The Glitch: Every 20 seconds spent in Survivor form, the Killer’s body undergoes a subtle, involuntary "twitch" or "spasm"—a visual cue that observant Survivors can use to identify the imposter.
  • ​Reversion: The Metamorphosis cannot attack while transformed. Pressing the attack button initiates a 1-second reversion process where she regains her original form and weapon, allowing her to strike.

​Special Interaction: The Memento Mori (The Final Experiment)

​The Metamorphosis pins the dying Survivor to the ground in her original form. As the Survivor struggles, she begins a violent transformation, snapping her bones until she looks exactly like the victim. She then performs a "surgical procedure" on the victim using her weapon. In the final moments, the camera reveals the Survivor’s reflection: they have died wearing the distorted, monstrous face of the Killer, while The Metamorphosis stands over them, wearing the victim's face and smiling.
