Is It Possible to Resolve a Past Violation Without a Ban?

Dear Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to sincerely address a situation concerning my friend’s account in Dead by Daylight. In the past, he made a serious mistake by using unauthorized methods to obtain in-game items. He fully acknowledges that this was wrong and takes complete responsibility for his actions. Since then, he has stopped entirely and deeply regrets his decision.
He genuinely values the game and the community, and over time he has invested a significant amount of money in official DLC characters and content. Most importantly, he understands that fair play is essential to maintaining a healthy and competitive environment for everyone.
If possible, he is more than willing to voluntarily relinquish any items that were obtained improperly and comply with any corrective measures you deem appropriate. He respectfully asks whether there might be an opportunity for leniency, given that he has ceased all violations and is committed to playing fairly moving forward.
He truly hopes to continue supporting and enjoying Dead by Daylight as a legitimate member of the community.

    has he stopped because hes been banned? if he has not been banned and wont do it again then there is no issue.

    from what i have heard, this is almost always a permament ban without an appeal if thats how he got banned.
