Matchmaking per regions

After 10 years, it would be really cool if the game could have MM per regions. At least for the base game, maybe not the events idk.
First, it could avoid us being with laggy people.

Second, it could avoid us being with people who has the reputation to be toxic.

Why does DBD lack this feature?

    whether you like it or not, you have to accept it the way it is, you will always find people who have lag and high ping because not everyone lives near the server and people all over the world want to enjoy the game, most people are willing to play in high ping because they have no choice. people live in all countries around the world and it wouldn't be fair for them to be restricted and not be able to enjoy the game while the server is far from them. not everyone has the gift of living in a region where the server exists such as Europe, NA or Japan. the world is bigger than that so you just have to deal with it and accept that there are people who always will have high ping.
