Maps and swfs

As it stands rn if you get put into these maps with a swf you will NOT win as a killer, Meat plant, Crows, dead sands, and Garden of sadness and depression. If you have the worst luck to let alone get a swf then have to be placed in one of these maps you will lose. The reason ppl dc in your games aint because there is no chance of winning it's because they will NOT have fun playing that match. I understand wanting to win for both roles. But the fact is if people cant play killer or survivor with it being fun your game will keep suffering. There are just things in the game that are so insane that you really can't believe it got past testing from the PTB to the devs testing it themselves. As it stands I don't think this game can ever be fun for one side because of the blantent lack of care from the devs, they don't care that there maps are poor and unbalanced. They don't care if one party is having fun or not. They don't care about the consumers.

  • Maps like Haddonfield, Forgotten Ruins, Lake Ormond, Rotten Fields, Rancid Abbatoir are fair and balanced, right?

did you just make forgotten ruins killer sided….?
and wasn't haddonfield survivor sided for years…

and beside that the fact u are complaining about 5 "killer sided" maps between the like 30 ? maps are survivor sided is wild, yea how about we talk about ormond, or yamaoka estate, or springwood with 3 DAMN MAINBUILDINGS or nostromo that somehow became unpressurable these days or lerry's / hawkins where u chase scratch marks more than survivors, no?

yea they are balanced for all killers beside forgotten ruins, that map is misrable for both sides, haddonfield might have a bit too much dead zones but its better than the old one with the infnites everywhere

  • I'm sorry but you can beat a Swf in Dead Sands lol. Gideon is for sure a toss up it really depends I've won and lost some intense matches there. If they have WoO and split up your probably cooked.

  • In addition to maps being one-sided and SWF, Blight, Nurse, and Ghoul are also blatantly problematic, but the developers continue to ignore them.

  • Whether or not a Killer will do well on a given map depends on the Killer. Ghostface for example suffers on big maps like Suffocation Pit with strong mains and on bright maps like Coldwind. Dredge meanwhile suffers on maps that lack lockers, like Ormond Resort. Nemesis will be fine on Gideon or Hawkins or even RPD, but Billy suffers in Hawkins AND RPD (he's sorta OK on Gideon).

That said there are a couple maps that are awful for Survivors to be stuck on - Haddonfield, Rotten Fields, Forgotten Sands. These must be addressed. In addition there's the Swamp Maps, which are uniquely awful for both sides in different ways and are a curse brought upon us all by the Entity to mock us for our hubris.

Honestly the maps you mentioned plus the ones I did, need to be adjusted. If the map sucks for most people on one whole side, the map is too one sided and needs balancing.
