The killer DCing should count as adept
This has happened to me twice already. Recently I went for a Survivors adept. We had a very good start, the killer DCs, I lose out on adept. Today I went for another Survivor adept. The Killer had a rough game, 2 total hooks and we are about to finish the second to last gen. They DC and I don't get adept.
I think it is stupid that other players are able to basically withhold achievements from you by doing that. Adept is easily recogniseable ("Oh, this Kate runs Boil Over, Dance with Me and seems to always know where pallets and windows are") and malicious players could use this withhold adept by just DCing as soon its clear they have lost.
A Killer DC counts as escape for other quests, I don't see why it doesn't for adept.
