In the latest patch, is it now beneficial for the last two survivors to not repair generators?
For a long time, there’s been a common situation in DBD where, once there are only two survivors left, they stop repairing generators and just hide, stalling the game. To prevent this, the developers introduced a feature in a previous update: if survivors don’t repair any generators for a certain period of time, the killer can press the "refuse" button. This would count the survivors as "killed," and the killer would win the match.
However, in the latest patch, this mechanic seems to have changed. Now, when two survivors remain, they actually benefit from stalling. If the killer loses patience and presses "refuse," the survivors escape with full match points — without completing any generator repairs.
This has started being used as a deliberate strategy to win, and it completely breaks the balance of the game.
We kindly ask the developers to take a closer look at this issue and fix it as soon as possible to preserve fair play for everyone.

If you look at Phase 1 of the QOL update, they're looking to address these instances of excessive hiding
Even if we ignore that there are planned measurements to prevent hiding like this, this is still better than having to wait until the Server closes if two Survivors decide to hide.
(And even if Anti-Hiding is actually good, it does not really change the core problem that there is really not anything to gain for Survivors in a 2v1 when there is more left to do than a small portion of the last Gen…)
I don't know why the devs didn't wait to launch both features at the same time. Launching the abandon feature without the anti-hiding measures feels like a bad idea, seeing as they seem to be built to compliment each other.
yes you can do that or just both of you can get downed and abandon and it's a draw for both survivors
Frankly if the Survivors force the Killer to do this at any point it SHOULD be a loss. At that point, the Killer is playing the game - it's Survivors who refuse to concede defeat or play at all and try.
