Why killer MUST work for faster loss when survivors can insta DC?

Yeah they have capability to end game faster, but the question is why they MUST put their effort ONLY to get a lose?

Shouldn't we like, just end the game and go on? why they must actively work for it?

    Speeding up trials that have basically concluded to allow everyone to move on to another trial quicker is a good idea. Once egc starts, it would be reasonable to let a killer leave (maybe if they open the gates themselves?)
