I give up on Legion

When I first started playing Legion, I was facing "meh" survivors. As I keep playing Legion, I'm learning there are just way too many obstacles and downfalls of this killer you have to go out of your way to deal with.

Buying additional killers to prestige them JUST for a perk you HOPE will help but you really can't reap the benefits of regardless because despite Legion having Frenzy, wounding everyone, and really getting around the map… they just boil down to a boring M1 killer with nothing special. Should your Frenzy actually benefit you early to down a survivor, after one has been sacrificed your power is null. You can wound survivors all damn day with it, but eventually they will either heal or get gens done.

When I first started playing DBD, I really thought killers were just absolutely broken and the survivors were at such a disadvantage with so many obstacles. Many MANY killers are a joke unless you spend 5k hours grinding them to get better. Really strange for a game based AROUND killers and iconic killers. You'd really think the odds would favor Killer SOLELY because of the game aesthetic itself.

  • Every killer on the list starts out against survivors that are easy. The more you play a specific killer, the matchmaking will look for survivors that get out very often or atleast perform well. For example my xeno is now p100, and everytime i play him regardless of how strong he is i have to put everything into the round or they get out easily. Meanhile i jump to someone i havent played much like hag, and suddenly im slaughtering them without trying again. Legion isnt very easy to win with against a stronger team. His weakness is that you have no chase power after someone is injured and you are required to knock people down with the bare minimum, even trapper has more of a chase power. And a lot of legions always try to go for a 5 hit instadown when its actually something situational and not something you should be avle to pull off any time every round. The amount of times a legion nips 2 people runs across the map and gets kicked out of their power chasing someone for 2 healthstates losing a gen or 2 happens nearly every round. What his strengths are is : 1: hes good at ensuring whoever he is chasing has only 1 healthstate, 2: he great at finding people as his perk keeps people away from lockers and if anyone gets nipped there is no hiding. 3: hes good at wasting the survivors time with healing. 4: hehas the unique ability to judge the entire teams skill levels within the first couple minutes and can pickout who is the easiest to chase and who is going to waste most of his time and should be saved for later. 5: he prevents people from helping eachother in chase. 6: all 3 of his perks were designed to benefit his playstyle like knowing when people are grouped up on generators, keeping people out in the open from lockers, and ensuring people cant body block his hard earned hooks since he has to chase them with no power. Keeping all that in mind might allow you to get atleast 1-2 kills in a tough round

  • legion has been trash for awhile now. I think they should just tweak parts of his power against actual decent survivors it’s impossible to chain 5 hits.

  • Point i was trying to make is that he didnt always have instadown, and now everyone focuses on it so much they forget they left 3 people in one corner with no pallets to use all injured just to go look for the last guy thats had all the time in the world to run across the map when u couldve downed 1 or 2 of those people alredy. You could even use the add on that makes them oblivious when hit, and the addon that shows their aura when mending, hit them, fake leaving and come back sneaking up on them. Hes definitely not about instadown its more of a bonus event if you happen to have all 4 people in a bad position. Otherwise he is for keeping most of the group injured and picking people off when they are in unsafe positions

  • What's your build?

Legion is required to use chase perks to be viable.

I like to use either Enduring/Bamboozle, or Enduring/Spirit Fury.

Then two slowdown perks of your choice.

Enduring is an amazing perk for Legion, especially survivors try to stun you out of your power, you often end on same side for instadown. Otherwise just no need to respect pallets is good when you have no time to waste.

Nobody good falls for that. They use check spots to mend.

Legion's power vs competent survivors is to get one or two easy health states and nothing else. They won't let you chain hits. It's really sad to basically not be able to use your power except for the most basic component of it.

  • Legion is a solo Q destroyer thats about it.
