Thoughts on the podcast?
For those of you that don't know i think a youtuber by the name of "The King" held a podcast and some people were streaming it ( I was watching from the side of paulie Esther) and to be honest i feel like this was a hell of a lot better than tofus podcast, Tofus i felt contained of nothing but people who circle-jerked back in forth saying how they were in favor of it. The only person against it was Hexy, who, never got a question answered and from what i heard was just completely ran over.
This podcast however i felt was a whole lot better simply because it contained people on both sides that we were willing to discuss the problem, be it that some people had some stupid excuses and didn't even know what they were talking about (I'm looking at you kittychipz) the discussion was quite something to watch and look forward to. Now, the whole reason the issue of De-ranking was brought up was because of a reddit post that called out Jendenise, who, if you don't know, is another streamer and a Fog Whisperer, which is a title given to by the devs where you receive special treatment or whatever. Jen has before been warned too stop de-ranking and that if she doesn't she will receive a temp ban.
In my opinion, i believe that the warning wasn't necessary, they should have temp banned her on the spot. Now, this isn't because i am some "Reddit Killer Main" as she would call most people who main killer (i actually play both and if anything more survivor than kill), but i am someone who would expect consequences to be done to even people who are given such a high position in the community. I have read some things in Paulies chat and i have seen how jen plays on stream, some people have stated that she would ask "Chat is this guy brain-dead?" and certain other phrases like "Sweaty, or tryhard" the basic standard edgy person on the internet insults that would be usually spewed out of ones mouth. To be honest what i think needs to happen, is that Jen needs to be temp banned, she needs to have her Fog Whisperer title removed, and until she can be able to set some kind of example for the community that she has created, then she can have her title back, simple as that.
But back to the podcast, Kittychipz stated that rank 1 is not good simply because she encounters the same amount of people every single time she loads up into a game. I don't know about you but i don't encounter the same person unless i got dodged in a lobby and i loaded up into that persons lobby the next time i click "Join Lobby" This next statement was kind of stupid, another content creator by the name of Monto (Slow the game down a little bit) said that maybe a solution to avoid encountering the same people again would be to wait for some time before clicking join lobby again, and i believe that she said that she has a stream to entertain or something along the lines of that, and that she can't wait or something. Now, that's just BS because i know tons of people can easily find some ways to entertain their audience, and if you can't then that's just a sign that you're a boring content creator who relies on de-ranking simply because you want to get easy to win against killers in your game.
In conclusion, De-ranking is wrong, it screws over the people you are playing with and is something that shouldn't be practiced, therefore, the devs need to address this and take some serious action.
I don't want to see any arguments in the comment section about how i am berating a streamer or whatever, don't have time for it. Please have a good argument as to why De-ranking is good if you wish to discuss it, otherwise read and move on.
TLDR: There is none, learn to read paragraphs or lower the screen brightness, idk do something.

yeah i got an hour in when i was working out and listening , i had my own list in response to what was mentioned in it but ill have to write it down later.
But i've been saying this since forever and a day, if the variety in rank 1 gets changed (aka buff or make all killers viable , WITH more useless perks being buffed) people will actually VS and experience different builds/killers in all ranks.
SINCE , you know that was the MAIN "issue" as to why these streamers were DC'ing ...
not to get easier games and to make matches more entertaining but to have more "variety" let's see if this still holds true in the next couple months lol
And to be fair Jen's "style of streaming/playing" isnt anything new, people who are good/bad will always ######### talk the other side.
She may be a fog whisperer but the reason i honestly think she was picked was because she's one of the only streamers i actually see in multiple streams watching , talking, and discussing things about the game constantly.
When she's on twitch she's streaming to entertain. * ENTERTAIN*

I mean look at Ninja, the man is pretty much the icon of Fortnite and he's always saying stupid ######### all the time.
Ninja gets sponsors and attends events so the fact that the way she streams/talks on stream should be irrelevant.
People ######### talk on every video game so this shouldnt even be a topic to discuss
Yeah this part was a bit BS to me but im usually playing from the afternoon till the night and i dont ever come across the same killer in rank 1's most of the time it's a mixed batch, but just because we dont encounter it doesnt mean it doesnt happen.
But yeah most of Kittychipz input for me was just -

I wouldve preferred someone like true for her spot and maybe another person who plays or sees killer matches more often
Honestly, imo De-ranking is terrible and the only argument for it I kind of agree with is the lobby wait times at Rank 1 as Killer. However, even that has gotten better recently and there are many very successful streamers who have been making it work without De-ranking.
