The lack of informations of SoloQ make some perks to be completely useless
Yes, we know that SoloQ is and always will be the game's lamest mode for a whole host of reasons, but one of many can be solved very easily simply by providing players with many more ways to exchange information within the game.
The ability to see your teammates' perks before and during the match, additional icons when activating perks, and pre-set in-game commands to communicate with players are great options that could be implemented so as not to turn some decidedly good perks unusable due to the lack of such options.
Do you have a chance to save yourself for free from the hook with Deliverance or Wicked?
You will see other survs intent on making a save when there is no need to, wasting a lot of time and giving the killer easy pressure, as well as sometimes even a trade that should not have happened in the first place.
Do you get a chance to get up off the ground yourself with Unbreakable / Plot Twist? The others don't, and will keep running to help while the killer has slugged you.
Do you have perks for speed healing and want to go for a save (e.g. we'll make it)? There will be at least one other teammate who will insist on doing it for you.
Do you have the option to pause the timer on the hook, gain 30 seconds while the killer is camping and the other 2 survivors can keep doing gens? You can't, because the other 2 don't know and will go and make the save unaware that it is not needed.
Do you want to open the gate faster because you have Wake Up or Sole Survivor? If there is another survivor around he will do it for you.
Do you have DS to counter tunnelling? Another teammate sees you in trouble and takes an unnecessary hit for you.
Do you have Adrenaline and the killer is chasing you while a gen is going to get popped? The guy doesn't know and won't expect you to take a hit to get a full value.
These are just some of the many examples that can occur in the game. I could still go on talking about the anti-camping feature that gives no information to allies about the camping status of the killer and so on...
True, sometimes you can tell your teammates in the pre-game lobby that you are using a certain perk, but it doesn't always work, maybe because the others are on consoles and can't read it, or maybe they are just AFK, or even more simply I forgot to tell them.
Why preclude such an easy in-game implementation in order to make an already problematic mode's gameplay experience even more intolerable?
