or at least allow us to enable it as an option since without the transition, it simply just makes the current animation feel incomplete and less natural to look at.

Also while you're at it, would be great if you could update the healing animation to something similar to what Left 4 Dead has with it's healing animation, as well as the exit gate lever interaction animations to look less stiff.
