Why hasn’t console got post game chat yet?

Inb4 “you don’t want it, it’s toxic” ect

is there a legitimate reason why it still hasn’t been implemented after all these years?

    My guess would be because outside of typing 'gg' it would take too long and everybody left the lobby by the time a controller could type out a sentence

    Fast blood web took 6 years.

    Option to pick an avatar and a banner took 7 years.

    Just write down people's gamertags, make a note of what you want to say, and in a few years you might be able to say it to them.

    Likely answer is: it would lead to more moderation, which they deem to be unnecessary because Sony and Xbox have their own chat systems policed by them.

    It might be a fair judgement to save on manpower, but it's still technically shirking responsibility.
