STBFL should has an icon displayed to your obsession
I love to use STBFL while playing as killer. It's really strong perk and there is definetly a counterplay (for most killers) against it.
Problem is that counterplay is basically SWF only thing, because your friends will tell you STBFL is being used. There is not really a way to find out as soloQ, because you usually don't have a vision on killer's attack animation.
I wouldn't display it from start of the game, but make it work so it is displayed when killer gets like 4-5 stacks, which should be fine (that's kinda when you are able to tell from animation).

if only your team and never you get chased you should take chase so hooks can get spread more evenly keeping 4 players alive as long as possible, so if you are playing it right you should eventually find out.
can we stop spoon feeding survivors information for whenever a killer uses a perk? Can I get an Icon for unbreakable or decisive strike with UI when i get prompted to pick someone up with nice image when i play killer? that would be much appreciated so i can avoid and perfectly times perks as killer. I also need one for deliverance while we're at it.
Why do survivors need to know absolutely every single thing a killer can do? Killers get very little info on what perks survivors bring, and they're bringing 16 of them.
Killer perks announcing themselves is the entire reason perks like devour, and hubris and dissolution are functionally useless.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the coin, how does a killer know if a survivor they're chasing has MFT? How do they know if they have lithe or balanced or if a survivor is getting ready to sprint away? How do they know if letting a survivor go is a bad idea if they have inner healing ready to undo any injuries they did? How do they know if they've got head on and are luring them into a trap? How do they know if a survivor has dead hard?
Killers don't get to know anything until it's too late. Let's imagine a scenario here. A survivor is on the ground. Before you pick them up, another survivor comes in and touches, and suddenly they get up. You hit the survivor who got up and they have endurance. Why did they have endurance? Was it buckle up? Was it soul guard? Was it made for this? How would you know what to watch out for?
But no, that's not a problem I guess, let's just keep feeding survivors all the info they could possibly ever want about the 4 perks the killer can bring in, while the killer is left guessing about their 16. Why not just cut to the chase and take this to its logical end point. Just show survivors the killer's perk loadout before the match. That would let survivors know exactly what to prepare for wouldn't it?
You can tell if someone is using STBFL, already. Part of the game sense.
