They don't really specify. But they call it the xenomorphs hook. So maybe? I like having killer hooks back imo. It made things a bit more cosmetic.

It used to be like that where every Killer had their own hooks and they'd spawn on every map depending which Killer is played. This was removed once Myers released. But I would actually love that feature back.
Mhm. The main complaint ive heard is stealth killers since you could just look at the hook. But i mean...with how stealth is in the game now. I don't think its that big of a deal. Most stealth killers should have aggression to go with their stealth. (And those that dont should probably get more)
Unique hooks is great, and I want more
The thing is, they'll have to introduce new hooks for some Killers which haven't come with a map. Blight, Trickster, Twins, Cannibal for example.
Billy and Leatherface share the same hook like they share a third of their addons. Problem solved.
Twins can get the Borgo hooks while Knight gets a new hook.
Trickster gets a dripped out neon hook.
Blight gets a Blighted hook, they're already in the game.
Pinhead gets a torture pillar for a hook.

Am I the only one who actually doesn't like this? It just tell survivors immediately that they're playing against Xenomorph and is inconsistent with all other killers. Idk it's not really a big deal, it just doesn't make sense imo.
I mean you can already see his tunnels on gens so it doens't matter at all!
Yeah I don't think it makes him noticeably weaker or anything since the control stations exist. I just find it weird.
I prefer map themed hooks
Yeah, hooks are way better blending with the map than fitting the killer. They are still part of the scenario afterall.
I don't like it, they don't really fit outside of the Nostromo map.
