What if all Hooks worked like Pyramid Head's Cages?
If the killer spends too much time near the hook, it will teleport away.
Clever killers can even use this as if they know a rescue attempt will be made, they can purposefully trigger the reposition to delay the rescue.
Personally, I think this is a great anti camping idea, but I can be wrong, so feel free to voice your counter arguements.

You just made it an alternative to camping that accomplishes the same goal, either forcing a second hook or a death lol.
Calling it anti-camping doesn't make it so if you can exploit it and get a similar benefit to camping and possibly waste even more time for survivors.
It's probably even better than proxy camping...
Perhaps in that case, if the hook teleports, the hook timer is paused for a certain amount of time after it teleports. Just a couple of seconds.
That way it doesn't guarantee a second hook stage, AND it makes lore sense, cause the entity is retracting some of its power to move them, so they can't focus on eating their soul.
Or alternatively, each time it teleports a bit of the struggle timer is recharged?
Imagine you go for hook trade when survivor is going to reach second stage and I just sent him away :D
Too abuseable. This works on a cage because the survivor is already sent far and you as the killer don't know where they end up and if you do find the cage then you have to guess where they will next appear (which on big maps especially is still RNG). The cage also has no BT or any unhook prevention meaning this is needed or the killer could just wait by a cage and down the guy the moment he gets saved.
