Grim Embrace Buff?

One of the main criticisms around buffing Grim Embrace is that the perk would promote camping. However I think with the recent anti-camp measures being announced and hook grabs being removed, Grim Embrace should finally receive a meaningful buff.

Grim Embrace, at minimum, should block all Generators for 60 seconds. Aura Reading should apply to all Survivors, not just the Obsession specifically.

Keep in mind that Grim Embrace is having to actively compete with SH: Pain Resonance, which is another Shareable Perk belonging to the Artist:

  • SH: Pain Resonance, upon using all 4 tokens, can regress 100% progress from a Generator, thus making it waste 90 seconds of time. SH:PR also regresses a Generator upon using a token, which means you can at least get SOME value even if you arent able to hook everyone once (i.e. if you hook only 3 people, you at least get 75% regression).
  • Grim Embrace not only is weaker, by wasting only 45 seconds of time, BUT it has a harder activation condition by requiring you to hook all Survivors at least once before it's effect can actually activate. The Aura Reading is also really bad specifically because it only applies to the Obsession and no other Survivors; The Aura Reading can also be outright useless if the last person you hooked for Grim Embrace is the Obsession.
