What range do you think would make Whispers the strongest?
And don't go "oh well in this situation or on this killer you may want more range on it but in this other one you may want less range" nah nah nah, what range do you think would be strongest overall? Too much range and it could give you info too often, to the point where it isn't even giving you info anymore. Too little range and it's the same problem but giving you info too rarely. The 32 meter range (at tier 3) we have right now is pretty useful and doesn't have too much of either problem, but do you think a different range would be even stronger?

Should just be set to the killers terror radius (outside of stealth).
Something around 32/28/24 in tiers. I'd like it slightly smaller and more confined range of effect.
make not be affected by survivors on the hook. that version sounds like a campers dream.

It should equal your Terror Radius so that it synergises with Terror Radius perks/powers, and you can adjust it with Terror Radius altering perks/add ons, while having a built in control in that survivors will be aware of your presence any time they're detected by Whispers.

Whispers range isn’t the issue with it, it’s just outclassed by a lot of other tracking perks that it’s not really useful anymore in comparison.
But for what it does, 32M is perfect. The only thing Whispers does better than other tracking perks is let you know whether walking to a section of the map is worth your time or not. Any bigger or smaller would mess with that.
I don't think there's issue with the range of Whispers.
I hope it just shows you the number of survivors Whispers detect.
Like, perk does nothing when you hooked someone.
I would make it work something like they suggested all the way back in 2018, where the range depends on how many Survivors are remaining
4 Survivors: 28/26/24 meters
3 Survivors: 36/34/32 meters
2 Survivors: 44/42/40 meters
1 Survivor: Whispers deactivates
The more Survivors are within the radius, the louder the Entity will be. While you're in chase, Whispers deactivates.
The numbers could be changed of course, but the whole point is to make it stronger during the early game to have better accuracy of where Survivors are. The wider range the more Survivros are dead is to compensate for them more likely being more spread out and easier to find. Why it deactivates when theres only 1 remaining is because the perk is actually fairly oppressive whenever you close hatch and the last Survivor is forced to open a gate, which is basically impossible with Whispers.
Should be token based, adds a token for every survivor inside range.
