Wesker is fine the way he is.
He waits for killer instinct and tunnels
If you had enough time to go get vaxxed and waxed you ain't being tunneled.
He's not chasing the un hooker and searches and waits. Tunneling.
I've seen Weskers do this. Someone unhooks you and you want to run with them to safety, but the unhooker just leaves you. You have no ways of healing yourself (because you didn't bring anything for healing, or you ran out), but you are about to be hindered. Of course you're gonna spray yourself. And guess who is more than happy to go for that killers instinct, especially after seeing on the HUD that you are still injured? 🙃
Even if you get healed and then spray yourself, guess who's dropping by? 😙
How many powers do u need as a killer? If u won't remove killer instinct then he should be like Nemesis and not injure u with his power until you're already infected.
Let me guess, no, he must have every ability under the sun or suddenly he won't vibe with u?

Wesker has his Virulent Bound which applies Uroboros Infection which spawns First Aid Sprays to counter. That's hardly 5 powers.
If he has to "search" anyone at all, he is not tunneling.
So he was not tunneling
He's a perfectly balanced, strong killer.
Just keep practicing looping
