Dead hard cannot counter tunneling
With all the tunneling and camping since the release, killers have literally been hitting survivors as soon as they are unhooked, putting them in deep wound. Sure that may give a survivor distance but killers like clown just need to throw two of their potion things and they are all caught up. Don't even get me started on Save The Best For Last which promotes it and all tunneling killers seem to use. How can you counter tunneling with dead hard if you can't even use it? The fact you can only realistically use it once since the killer will be caught by surprise is upsetting enough because they'll just wait it out the next time.
