Limit STBFL to 6 tokens so that its cooldown is similar to before the 6.1.0 killer buffs

Currently, STBLF with 8 tokens makes the cooldown 1.62s because base attack cooldown is 2.7s. Before, base cooldown was 3s and 8 tokens made it 1.8s. by reducing the max amount of tokens to 7, the cooldown would be 1.755s, or reduicng it to 6 tokens like i recommend would make it 1.89s. It would thus be a tiny bit slower than pre-killer-buff stbfl at max tokens, but because current attack cooldown is quicker (2.7), it balances the whole thing quite well.

I think stbfl really needs this small change because it is really too oppressive on some killers that can keep tokens easily and even generally on almost all m1 killers because it is extremely rare for SoloQ obsession-teammates to try to take hits to counter stbfl and it's also quite easy for the killer to just ignore the obsession most of the time. Furthermore, the speed burst from being hit also only being 1.8s instead of 2s before the 6.1.0 killer buffs, further decreases the distance gained

  • The reason for 6.1 was to get killers away from running 4 slowdown perks. The changes to base killer nerfed the pre-leave, pre-throw, and DH for distance strat that was common for the time. They seem to intend for perks like Brutal and Save to be better because of the base changes.

Killers like Demo can be dealt with by understanding how to starve stacks from him. He doesn't gain or lose stacks when using M2 which can be helpful for survivor. I think the core issue with Save would be that for soloq you don't have the information required to deal with the perk. I think informing players that the killer has save when they reach 4 stacks would be the correct solution to fix the issue. There is counter play vs the perk and it really only feels unfair when you simply don't have the information that an swf gets as a solo player.

  • None of killers who are good with STBFL is top tier.

Why the hell would you make them worse?

  • STBFL is one of the worst perk in the game in my opinion, because you have to select which surv you can't touch until the end of the game, when maybe you only catch the obsession out of bad luck

Thats what happens all the time when I run it on another killer than Demo.
