smallest mori could be improved like this:
So here i am, clobbering survivors left and right, no way out has yet to trigger and ive had the hatch closed for a while. The poor healthy claudette finally triggers it, and she waits by the door, waiting patiently for the inevitable. I walk up to her and smack her once, and as the animation triggers i realize how unglamorous this is, waiting for the animation, then smacking her down again, and then wai-- you get it, its kind of humiliating for the both of us. In that instance, it would be nice to just do something akin to an interrupt action, or a mori, so im not just squatting there for 20 seconds before i finally get it over with.
I was reminded of the way the Shape has an ability that allows him to mori survivors in a chase, and if that was applied to the Cypress Mori, allowing the last survivor to be snatched up (and adding considerable value to the perk warranting an increase in rarity)(which honestly seems fit for a Mori tbh) and executed once caught, and relieves the arduousness of smacking them and having them run and find hatch just because of game mechanics, which kind of makes the mori useless in those sorts of near-tie situations, or if they give up and surrender themselves, it makes this a little cleaner and more dignified for everyone.
As someone who has heard of and supports the idea of just abandoning the map-type offerings in the future, this is something that could help replace the void left, As well as my proposal a while ago that its about time some of the oldest mori animations need updating, this is an opportunity to update them and make it a little more condusive to making special animations for chase-moris or merging the two concepts to make an animation that can me morphed into either situation, or more if that ends up happening
