Okay so some weird ideas but hear me out
just had a match where i downed a survivor, and in the same moment the last survivor standing got caught in a beartrap, i went to go hook them and when i came back the survivor was gone, i looked around real casual, trying to give them a chance to crawl to hatch if they were lucky enough, ended up finding hatch myself, and they bled out on the floor.
I think this kind of thing gives light to an opportunity to change that dynamic, building on the suggestion of giving survivors the ability to scream while in the dying state, i think a nice change would be transferring the chance based self rescue from the hook to while you're in the dying state, making it so that you cant normally attempt escape from the hook, but when in the dying state, if you reach the point where you need to get help, you can try and push that bar up as far as it goes and if it works, you stand upright and run for your life, and if it doesnt, you scream out revealing your location to the killer, and they can come find you so youre not lying in the dirt for 4 minutes.
It has some pros and cons; It helps with minimizing slugging, at least on more than one survivor, i imagine if a killer wants to be toxic and slug the last survivor they kind of can do that anyways, but with all the ranting ive heard about 'i hate killers who slug to 4k' it would be cool to have a simple game mechanic counter to help with that; it can also be used as a distraction for the killer, or a taunt, being able to kinda spam it as much as you like, until you get yourself up;
I imagine it would greatly give survivors reason to immediately try to squirm away from the killer as soon as they are downed, which can kind of be annoying for killers to have to deal with without the right aura perks to help, but at the same time i think that would make the role of survivor more appealing if you can get away from a preoccupied killer; This grants another opportunity to remove being able to see any dying survivors' aura at anytime, a simple change could be to give the aura to all other survivors for like 4 seconds, and then 4 again whenever they fail to get themselves up, giving a loud noise notification to all players; This grants anOTHER opportunity for survivors to be compelled to make loud noises to lead the killer off, and make just a whole load of goofy mind games fun for the whole family;
This concept is a very large change to what im sure are core game mechanics that would be very hard to change, and if behavior for some reason decides to fully adopt this concept, it would take a lot of work, and so i doubt it would ever really come to fruition unless EVERYONE really liked it better than the current state of things. Not to mention that it doesnt even really make sense from a logical point of view, the 'chance' of pulling yourself back up, but it is a ghosty horror game about immortality and transposing dimensions so i mean whatever right
I wanna hear what anyone thinks about this idea, how it increases the value of hooks, how slugging/camping might change, how much harder it would be for killers to win, whatever

I actually kind of like this, both as survivor and killer, a 4% base chance that requires you to stand still to attempt it (if you have tenacity) and let's you try and attempt to get up at the cost of screaming and losing 1% of bleedout if you fail
