If you've interrupted a fast vault and haven't ran the lottery you're literally burning cash
It feels so absolutely impossible to do interrupt actions on vaults on purpose. In general interruptions are hard anyways, considering whatever ping you have thats how much shorter of a window you have to grab, and if you're caught in the difference the animation plays but you don't get it anyways.
I've been trying for weeks to get a planned interrupt on a fast vault for weeks now, having mostly given up, because i haven't been able to do it even once. On accident before, sure, but no matter how close i am when i click or how perfectly i time it, it just doesn't ever work.
Mostly looking at situations where im chasing someone around a window, they don't vault when they should, and im actively running into them as they run to the window and then i get nothing but a smack, and recently when i locked someone into a standoff around a pallet loop, and i couldn't grab them when they vaulted /Into Me/, making me mad enough to write this all out.
I don't know if its some weirdness with the range of a basic attack and the fact that they're just far enough away by the time the window for getting an interruption ends that it defaults to doing nothing, or if lag is just that much of an issue that its impossible to time it early enough without being too far away to actually get the trigger, or what, but it seriously feels like it just can't be done unless you're really, really lucky.

I'm pretty sure you can't get an interrupt grab on fast window vaults. As far as I know, you can only do it with slow or medium window vaults.
ive done it before, and it can only be slow or fast, there is no 'in the middle'
Which one of these vaults was it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ9jOa06Y74&ab_channel=radoo.You can't get a grab off of a fast window vault. Fast pallet vaults, however, act like medium window vaults and are therefore grabbable.
there are three window vault speeds: slow (not sprinting when you vault), medium (sprinting, but either didn't have the angle or didn't run for long enough to do a fast vault), and fast (where the survivor had a running start and the right angle). You cannot grab someone injured who is fast vaulting. You can read here for more information: https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Windows
