Solo Q matchmaking is broken i think
Matchmaking is broken.
1st surv 4.5k hours
2nd surv 6k hours
3rd surv private profile but since it's lvl 55 i believe this number is high
4th survivor who gave up literally, 300 hours
How can they match together ? They weren't premades because the 4th one gave up and others palyed all the way until the end ( 1 gen left )

In the same way i am constantly being matched against 4kh, 6.2kh and 8.2kh nurses even though i have 800h and my teammates usually are from 500-1500h
Points wise this isn´t a bad match. Getting 20k bloodpoints without offerings is usually the result of a long and productive match. So i don´t see an issue here.
Because playtime doesn't factor into matchmaking?
You could conceivably gain enough MMR to reach a reasonably high bracket in just a few hundred hours. Those additional several thousand aren't going to make much difference.
Or it could be due to backfilling. Did you personally witness each survivor enter the lobby? Or did you arrive to an already filled/partially filled lobby?
Can you make your prestige levels private because how are players with several thousand hours playing with non-prestiged characters?

Matchmaking has always been scuffed and it always will and I guarantee it is one of the reasons they got rid of ranking so you no longer have that to compare post game. The game will do its best to match you with people close to your skill level but it clearly will just throw you in with whoever if it can't find anyone close.
I prefer this system personally, it makes for faster matches and more randomness even if it may feel a bit rough for very new players.
solo Q experience has been dogshit and completely ruined. when will they address the horrendous state of it? when do we finally get some well deserved buffs for the solo survivor?
