and I'm almost always the first one the killer decides to fog over

Replace the aura reading with location bubbles, so the killer knows where to go, but cannot tell what direction the survivor went or what actions they're doing. The increased aura read duration can stay.

    If this happens to you so frequently just use distortion. It entirely counters lethal pursuer.

    Yeah, because each year the devs give us all a new perk slot, along with the 12 new survivor perks.

    I need 2 or 3 perk slots just to get the same information that SWF get free.

    "Killer's on me. Someone get the unhook." Costs zero perk slots. No Kindred required.

    Solo q either has 3 survivors rushing the hook and promotes the killer's camping, or it has 2 survivors urban evading on the edge of the map.

    Just change direction after 10 secs at the start of the match.

    You don't get to counter all the stuff in the game you don't like. You're not entitled to shut down everything your opposition brings. Pick some things you don't like and build around that. Or just use natural counters and think about your positioning a bit.
