Locker Grabs should not allow flashlight saves

Just the title as is. If you down a survivor, you can position yourself in ways to avoid flashlight saves, or chase the survivors off because the downed survivor cannot go anywhere. If someone jumps into a locker, the lockers that allow saves have to be grabbed from a specific position, and there is nothing you can do as a killer to counter it. If you try to chase the survivor off, the survivor in the locker can either jump out and run away, or try to and just jump back in. While it is a rarer situation, it is one with absolutely no counterplay when done by survivors who know what they are doing. There are some places, such as Dead Dog Saloon's drop down, where the killer can't even stop the survivors from doing it by chasing them off, because they are on a floor above and there is no way to get to them without the survivor in the locker escaping, due to it being a drop down with enough time to get into position and get the save, but the survivor on the second floor being too far away for the killer to reach in less than 20 seconds.

  • A band-aid perk for this issue already exists. Lightborn.

Doubt the devs will do anymore than that.

  • I wouldn't assume it's intentional anyways.

  • The only unfair thing about this one is if 2 survivors are able to both hop into lockers next to each other - meaning pulling one locks you for long enough that the other one is able to get out of locker and flash save the other. By introducing short cooldown to item usage after getting out of locker this would be fixed.

OP's suggestion is IMO non-issue. If killer decides to tunnel single survivor, we should have MORE options how to help chased survivor instead of having LESS options. Tunneling should be discouraged. And sure enough - trying to help tunneled survivor should create risk for helper. But it shouldn't be easy to just ignore rescuers (same way as it's now - I can take an injure and also go down for other survivor only to be outright ignored by killer who just wants to delete 1 survivor from the game. That is very unfun interaction and I find it unfair that there is almost nothing to combat this).

    The hilarity of that post.
