Do you think DS should work together with DH and OTR?

Title.

I for myself like to think that this build will never bother me, because I usually don't tunnel. But then these guys dance infront of my nose that it becomes quite hard to ignore them. They will bait me to lockers although I just hooked someone else for example (hooking someone else should disable both the endurance of OTR and DS imo).

There are matches where you need the pressure and if just one or 2 have the "anti-tunnel-build" together with some other annoying stuff like CoH, Prove and HF+SO it's basically gg.

I think making DS not work with OTR together would help a LOT, since DS gets rid of the deep wound effect and therefore makes DH usable.

A solution would be that downing doesn't remove deep wound so that it isn't reset but just paused.

What do you think?

  • I think it's fine. DS is only a 3 second stun right now which is not a lot of time to get away from a lot of killers. Having DS acting as a 1 time refresh for endurance so you can dead hard is like the one good use it has.

  • It's pretty uncommon for someone to get an OTR git, followed by a DS. I've ran this build a lot to try and punish tunnelers and it rarely ever pops. I think it's a non-issue, coming from someone who regularly plays like this.

  • I think it's fine. Dedicating 75% of your load out to not being tunneled should result in a strong build for that purpose. In order to make DH and OTR work you have to follow a very specific chain of events too that the killer can see coming. EG as soon as the survivor dead hards you remember that they have it, if they get unhooked and get in your face and you smack them and they have OTR and did not use dead hard odds are they are trying to potentially DS you to do what you described. In that scenario just go for another survivor or slug them.

Yes they're gonna be annoying for the next 60 seconds but they won't be progressing the game and at best can pull off a bodyblock but that's about it.

  • DS is a terrible perk now so that combo is fine.

If DS got buffed back to 5 seconds as it should, then the combo might be too much. Not for anti-tunnel, but for bodyblocking.

My problem is more that one guy with this and other good perk combos can make it very difficult sometimes. Especially on maps where there are 20 God pallets.

  • dedicating 75% of your build to the chance that you will get hard tunneled before endgame is a pretty bold move, sounds like it would not be useful in most games

in my matches (when I play survivor) it would work most times. which is quite sad tbh.
