People should not be forced to use Shadowborn to avoid a migraine
A FOV slider for killer should be part of graphical settings, not a perk.
For the people who say it's a gameplay advantage, let's actually evaluate that:
Hiding right beside the killer after vault/stun/swing/whatever
Literally does not work if the killer can figure out "Oh, the survivor vanished and there's nowhere else they could've ran to because not enough of a trail anywhere else, they must be behind/below me."
Wider Peripheral Vision to Catch Survivors
A good killer player will be checking and turning the camera side-to-side anyways to not miss people on the edges.
Wider Vision During Stuns/Fatigue/etc
The absolute majority of those push the camera down towards the ground regardless. Afterwards, scratch marks/blood/footstep sounds/breathing sounds/pain sounds/etc will still show where a survivor goes in the absolute majority of situations. The impact is near-negligible.

Let me guess: you got spun by a survivor and missed multiple attacks because of that.
No? But interesting projection.
Sorry, I was just messing around ๐
Regarding to your topic: I use shadowborn mainly on killers like hillbilly, sometimes huntress and legion. Imagine having to change the FOV every time you play killer because it doesn't feel OK on one killer. I think shadowborn is a good option without needing an in-game slider.
There should be killer-specific settings anyways. Some killers use bindings or buttons well that other killers don't need, and different sensitivities help differently on other killers.
6 years without an fov slider and probably another 6 ahead
I have no problem with the idea of increasing the base FOV for killers slightly to address motion sickness issues. It is definitely a tactical advantage though, no doubt in my mind, it's really just a question of whether the benefit is large enough to require some sort of offset to balance it out or if the buff to kill rates would be small enough to not have to worry about it much.
Also I think it would be pretty crazy fun if Shadowborn gave you something insane like a 180 degree panoramic field of view, or even just slightly larger. It would be like running around with a fish eye lens the whole game but if you could get used to it then the amount of extra stuff you could see would be great! ๐
