Legion feedback

OK so i have been playing with and against the legion now in the ptb and now on the live servers. Even tough it is still early there is no doubt that our dear legion needs something to lift him up a bit. And i think i have just the thing.

Deep wound will remain on survivors until fully healed. And mending merely just stops the timer, but to get rid of the deep wound the survivors must heal up to full health. What this does, is that it punishes survivors who decides not to heal with the fact that next time they run into the legion the meter is already drained. This will incentives hit and run. And this will actually mean something.
These changes also suddenly solves some other problems like perk diversity. This will give survivors an incentiv to actually heal, wich in return make all healing related perks actually worth taking on legion. This also slows down the game just a lil bit :P

So to just make it clear. Mending just stops the timer, and should stop as soon as the survivor starts mending to balance it out.

Whatever legion drained from the deep wound timer remains until the survivor have fully healed.

Hitting a survivor that have mended but not healed will work the same way as an injured survivor without deep wound as of now. That the timer will start ticking, and legion gets his killer instict and refill of his power.

This simple change i feel should be enough to make him more viable, the killer is fun as hell to play, but when i catch 4 survivors in the open and tag all of them just to have 2/4 of them already mended by the time i tagged the last one... Makes me feel like i justed wasted my own time. And isn't as rewarding as it should be.

If any devs/mods find this interesting, but i didn't make myself clear enough of what i meant, feel free to message me or respond on this thread ;)

Edit: on a side note. I do think that borrowed time should revert back to endurance state, as to merge it with legions power makes it difficult to balance the two.

  • I just think that this will make him to frustrating to deal with. Look at this post here:

It perfectly explains why Legion can't really be buffed any further, and why his design is so problematic. I think survivors would go crazy if they constantly had to heal again and again, in addition to repairing gens, while at the same time not being able to affect the chase against Legion in any way.

Well i for one do not support the claims of that post, i find legion one of the more fun ones to play as and against, and healing is intense and i find it fun to actually decide do i do this gen her or do i heal. So am just trying to cook something up that will make him more fun for those that need a killer to be viable also, as of now legion is the worst killer by far, but he is so much fun. And as for counters, stunning legion with a pallet removes him from his frenzy and drains it, so there is counters to his power. also, he doesn't have scratchmarks wich makes juking him real easy. And when he's in frenzy sound seems to be cluttered t so even if you're hurt its still easy to juke.

  • IMO

    - Don't reset his power fully. If you only use half, let it recharge from half like the spirit. I like to use a bit to cover more ground going towards a far gen, but save a bit so that its recharged fully by the time I get near the gen. With soirit you can do this, with legion you cant as it resets his poeer fully when you cancel frenzy.

    - Reduce the stun time a little bit. Maybe 20%?

Now the biggest issue obviously is his movement speed. 110 makes him worthless. Just having survivors run around a truck on auto-haven holds him at bay for long enough, god help you if you get to the shack.

115 would have him too strong.

112.5....its not perfect but its probably the best compromise.

Buffing his speed will make him boring and only use his power for his first inital hit. And reducing the stun will make him to strong, but the change i proposed will play on his power, if you use it well you get rewarded. But as of right now the power doesn't do anything except for the first hit.
