Better Than New? More Like Anything Else is Better!

The Problem

  • Better Than New doesn't give much, if any, value to the Survivor due to how limited it actually is.
  • This Perk is going to be one of the many garbage perks people forget about.

The Solution (because the community can make things better than you)

After completing a healing action on a Survivor, they benefit from the following effects until they are injured again:

  • Increases their action speeds in healing, sabotaging, unlocking, cleansing and blessing by 12/14/16%.
  • Increases their recovery time from negative status effects by 30%.

Additionally, for the first 60 seconds after that Survivor has been healed, the following effect applies to them:

  • Grants complete immunity to status debuffs caused by Killer Perks or Add-Ons.

Status Debuffs normally appear near the Survivor's main perk icons. They do not appear while Better Than New is active.

Examples of Status Debuffs affected by Better Than New:

  • Dead Man's Switch
  • Dying Light
  • Franklin's Demise
  • Thanatophobia
  • Iridescent Queen (The Doctor add-on)

Examples of Status Debuffs not affected by Better Than New:

  • Any Status Effect that appears in the right center of the screen.
  • Any effect that appears on the Survivor icons.

Comments

  • I don't know about debuffs as this looks complicated to me (which effects are covered again?), but adding sabotage speed into the active effects is nice ๐Ÿ™‚ (even though canceling speed buf on hit actually hurts the most - taking hit before sabo is not that rare).

anyway it would still need to do something more (i have no idea what that would be) to find it's niche usage as it is quite fragile AND does not do that much (1-3s saved if stars align to "secondary" actions is not really significant/that useful)
