you can be toxic as long as you edit your comment??
so i had some interaction & someone took a personal attack on me for an opinion i had but 10 minutes later just edited it out??
is this something common on the forums??
as long as you edit it,, you can get away with disrespect towards another member of the community?

But if they did it themselves and mods didn't see it, they got away with it I guess.

I think mods edit inappropriate comments often.
Yeah, mods can edit (and moderate) comments. If any rules are broken, the user gets a warning/ban/jail time for it.
also i am pretty sure if you reported a comment the mods will see the original comment in the state you reported it in even if it got edited later.
