2 useless ghostface add-ons

Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the Ghostface buffs and changes and add-on overhaul but 2 of them in particular are just... why? They look like filler add-ons to me.

I am of course talking about "Chewed Pen" and "Lasting Perfume".

Chewed Pen increases the time it takes survivors in the dying state to reveal GF to 3 seconds

Lasting perfume does the same but just for hooked survivors.


Here are some ideas to change them:

  1. just make these 2 effects base-kit and give them completely different effects
  2. make these effects base-kit and change these add-ons so they completely prevent GF being revealed by survivor in the dying state/hooked state
  3. combine both add-ons into one and rework the other
  4. combine both add-ons into one and make it so survivors in those 2 states cant reveal GF then rework the other
  5. simply increase the seconds to buff them (i am thinking like 5-9 seconds)
  6. just delete them and give me my BP back
  7. rework them and delete the effect


all of these boil down to making them stronger/reworking them lmao

some ideas for the reworks:

  • hitting an unmarked survivor while in Nightshroud inflicts mangled and hemorrhage until they are healed
  • stalking a survivor takes x times longer, inflict exhaustion for 5 seconds, blindness and oblivious until the mark expires. (combination of other add-ons with a downside)
  • marked survivors have their action speed reduced by X%
  • kicking a generator recharges Nightshroud, the generator is highlited to all survivors with a yellow auro for 10 seconds.
  • your cloak is now completely silent (the cloth straps floating behind you make sound in case you didnt know)
  • having your aura read while in nightshroud reveals the survivor's aura to you that is reading your aura

    I would say, make one of them increase the reveal time for survivors in both states by 3s, and have the other one prevent survivors in those states from revealing at all.

    as a ghostface player, I'm confused why anyone would want to be in shroud in line of sight to a dying or hooked survivor. that's like, ghostface 101 "do not do this". it's a free reveal.
