pc up to date but i freeze in game but the game can carry on with survivors doing gens and leave?

it just seems to be this game that wont run on a pc thats up to date? any one had and fixed this problem on there pc be for? games starts ok then i cannot move but survivors can when playing as killer

    What freezes?

    Game hangs up, or you freeze for a certain time? Or the stutters - or the freeze when you hook somebody and another is saboing the hook?

    playing killer went to hook some one i could not move i was about to put survivor on hook then i could not move and survivors can still blind me do gens and leave the game. other time putting a trap then could not move but the survivors can carry on as normal i just want to be able to play the game the computer is all up to date.

    The other day I got pallet stunned and then couldnt move for the rest of the game. Just stood there while survivors flashied me and eventually did gens and left.

    yeah its bad cause i have to wait till the games over cause i dont want to d/c for the d/c timer the game just wont run smooth not sure what to do
