Furtive chase change: (edited)

For the duration of the trial, you can see the obsession's aura for 3 seconds every 40/35/30 seconds as long as they aren't in your terror radius.

The rest of the perk stays the same, but the TR reduction would get buffed to 8m per token.

How's that?

  • Here's my change:

    Furtive Chase

Whenever you hook someone that isn't your obsession, you’ll get a Token, up to a maximum of 5 Tokens. Each Token reduces your Terror Radius by 1/2/3 meters. When a survivor gets unhooked, they will become the new obsession.

You'll lose all stacks upon hooking your obsession.

I know it's still not amazing, but it's at least way better and way more useful. It's discouraging tunnelling as well xd

  • The perk would become too good when combined with MYC. They would literally have the same timer that they'd be active, so you could be guaranteeing your next down. Combine that with devour hope and its a gg.

I kind of like this idea. It would be fun on Myers. Literal jumpscare tier 3 myers.

    MYC?

  • Make Your Choice, pig perk. Makes the person who unhooked exposed if you were far enough from the unhook.

Uhh, nemesis(the perk) already does that :P

it has that effect for only four seconds, though.

  • Honestly I think upping each token to 8m might make it at least decent.

I mean, yeah, but MYC and devour are already incredible, to be fair.

what if the perk acted as a 1 way object of obsession instead?

the killer would get a ping on the obsession's location once every 30 seconds.

That probably would be a better effect. The survivors should be able to catch on if they notice the obsession is changing during unhooks, so it shouldn't be too over powered in only giving killer an aura benefit. If they added this aura benefit and changed the token system to affect your permanent terror radius (probably reduce the amount for each token so you can't completely get rid of your terror radius), then people might run it.

Isn't that essentially just Object of Obsession?

  • It'd only be one way.

It'd be object of obsession for killers, basically.
