Spirit bug has been in the game since her nerf
Step 1: Boot up the game
Step 2: Play as spirit in any mode (custom or public)
Step 3: Start phasing
Step 4: Notice it takes a moment to get up to full speed, by the time you're at full speed you have lost roughly 1/4 of your power gauge (without duration add-ons). This effect is more noticeable with speed add-ons. This doesn't always happen and its intensity varies every time, at least for me.

If this was intended, please address it, if not then please fix it because it makes her feel clunky.

Can confirm. Everytime you start Phasing you lose a whole second of your power before being able to move.

Yep totally,thought it was just me bugging,this seems like a stealth nerf.
I can also confirm this didn't happen before at all, I hope this isn't a shadownerf as it happened to Billy with his cooldown 3/4 years ago or with Wraith's shadow dance add-on.
I remember it being different, you did not stay still in place for 0,5 seconds.
That and the acceleration instead of starting at 176% hurts as little as it is. Some things like that can make a huge difference and this is one
also acknowledgment and fixing of the iron will bug aka injured survivors with iron will having neither injured (as intendend) nor breathing sounds (bug?), making them completely quiet. Would make sense that IW doesn't make em completely silent but instead reverts survivor noises from injured to breathing while being injured with iron will. But that has never been acknowledged nor fixed.
press the attack button once you gain control of Spirit ( at the start of a match ) and it’ll disappear for the entirety of the match. :)

It does but you have to do it once every match but i agree we shouldn’t have to do that.
I really don't understand why it takes BHVR so long to even say that this is an acknowledged bug. Honestly it's embarrassing for there to be this long of a response time for bugs like this

What I DID notice, is in the following release 5.4.0, they mention an Optimization fix for the Spirit, but don't describe what the issue was. They just say, "Dev Note: The Spirit has the largest impact on performance of any Killer, technically speaking. 5.4.1 Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Oni and Spirit's hair to disappear during the intro pan.
5.4.2 Fixed an issue that prevented the Spirit's new chase music from playing for Killers.
5.5.0 Fixed an issue that caused the Spirit's hair to disappear before the rest of her body when she phase in and out.
5.6.0 Fixed an issue that caused the Spirit's Husk not to be destroyed when stunned by the Head On perk.
No mention of Spirit directly in any other patch since 5.3.0. So yeah, no mention of this specific bug/nerf. Please fix or specify!
