Why are so many perks are being ignored
Everybody knows that 90% of the perks in dbd are barely usefull, mostly because they are situational but there are a lot of perks that could be good if numbers were adjusted.
Recently discovered website with some stats (https://nightlight.gg/perks), I doesn't really know how they obtain data, but stats are pretty realistic so I assume they are right.
And seeing those stats made me think, this is most likely how devs are receiving stats, so I am not dev, but holy #########, if perk is being used by ~0.04% of the survivors that's unhealthy, of course this is same about dead hard being used by 45% survivors.
What the devs are thinking? "Oh so sole survivor is being used by 0,04% of survivors hmm maybe we should nerf clown?"

Tbh unless u want at least a 1k as killer u need to run the same build every time so there isn't much space to try other builds to actually have fun
and for survivors its just ds and dead hard these days just crutch perks to climb its just dumb.
not that killers don't use Noed but tbh i don't blame killers, going against 4 dead hards and ds, neod is the only crutch perk killers have while survivors have an arsenal
I honestly am wondering if BHVR either through normal turnover or maybe they got too big or what but the people currently running balance seem to have no idea what they're doing
Boil Over was a perfect example
As soon as it was announced, a million killer voices cried out how awful and abusable that was going to be. They were ignored. In a shocking twist no one could have possibly seen coming, it was awful and abusable and made killer life hell for a few weeks.
They seem to not have any real deep understanding of their own game so they leave the super weak stuff alone since when they mess with it, they seem to either break the game (literally with bugs), break the game (figuratively by introducing a stupid perk that can ruin the game), or both.
