Picking up survivors with interrupting actions almost works then fails more often than it succeeds
its lame and i dont like it and i think there should be more consequences for survivors that see a big monster man coming and are like 'nah its cool' and then aren't punished at all for it. the windows should be open longer, the hitboxes should be bigger, it feels like an aspect to the game that really isnt implemented at all ever, when it should be. There are so many times when i do an interrupting action on a survivor and it works, and the animation triggers, and the game is like 'hah you thought just kidding' and rips me out of the animation to swing and injure the survivor instead of the thing that i wanted to do that would have just been so much better. i dont know how big of a deal ping discrepancies are, but i feel like for all except the most extreme cases, they should go in favor of the killer. A survivor waiting until the very last moment to leave a gen or trying to get that last inch in to complete it in the face of someone tromping down to tear them apart should be punished, not rewarded.
Something that just came to mind that i think would be really nice if interruption attempts and basic attacks weren't mutually exclusive--like say you found a survivor almost done with a gen and you try to interrupt them but they leave at the last second (probably using hacks or something because they suck) and you just whack them, then they go back and complete the gen and dead hard away and pallet loop you until you mash your face into your monitor, instead, if it was made that you could always click to do an interrupting action, whether you were recovering from a swing or not, they couldnt use the fact that you swung, successfully or not and are therefore frozen in time against you. It would also help for people that get locked into a death scenario but find a locker and spam run in and out, if you can just spam click and get them not only does that make sense for the scenario, but it prevents the survivor being able to cheese new killers by confusing them on how exactly to deal with such strange and confusing behavior(speaking from experience)
This does start to cause issues with things like if i lunge at a survivor who is vaulting through a window, should i be able to snatch them even after i miss the lunge shot by spam clicking, and where to draw the line between this and that can be difficult.
It also causes problems with facecamping killers, they kinda get a freebie no matter what, but at the same time, theres gotta be a line somewhere. i honestly think, as a killer main, facecamping could in all fairness become a bannable offense, because at no point in my entire experience playing this game have i ever wanted or needed to facecamp to do anything, and its garbage and should be outlawed. Something i HAVE done is slugged but that was before i knew it was a garbage thing to do or that it awarded no bloodpoints, whereas facecamping is stupid and should be illegal.

Facecamping is garbage but at the same time there are good reasons to to it like if I hooked in the middle of my three Gen why on earth should I walk away or when the gates are open why should I leave and give them an unhook it's not like I have anything to do
yea and i avoid facecamping but still get campy when the doors are powered but at the same time its not cool to condemn the random survivor you got, no matter their collective progress just because its your last chance, I feel like at that point you lost the match, you blew it and you need to accept it, the difference between one kill and zero kills for me personally is absolutely not the difference between a relative loss and victory, not to mention its like 2k bloodpoints anyways so its not like it benefits you in any meaningful way. Its just donking up other peoples experiences over the fear that you wont succeed in every match. If you get no kills, hell if you get no hooks in a match that means you lose, thats no reason to be a stink about it, get over it and play the next one. If youre losing over and over, come back tomorrow and see if its better. being a butt just because you wanna win isnt something that should be rewarded.

That's definitely a way to see that. Atm I feel more often the urge to camp and even more to tunnel because of how flawed the matchmaking is. I don't like to look up my opponents profiles in the lobby because then you go into a match with a mindset based on what you see if you now what I mean but I like to check them out after the game especially when I got stomped to death and it just isn't a nice experience no matter if your killer or survivor to go against someone above 6k hours if you are at 200. And then comes all that other stuff that many killers are so weak so you are screwed if you really like one of them like legion and that stuff like CoH is so unbelievable strong.
Is it right to let that out on the survivors? Probably not since only a minority of them are ass heads. But sometimes you just decent to that level I think we all have dark days as gamers.
What I will never get are these first down camper that do nothing the whole game. I hope bhvr succeeds in finding a good solution for the camping problem that isn't some band aid perk or just an alright punishment for killer
Yea i agree it can get really rough, but honestly if i ever feel bad enough about the game that i wanna facecamp, i just quit the match, give them a win, and go do something else for a bit to cool down. First down campers are im pretty sure the only ones that dont think first down campers are the worst lol <3
BTW nice to have a normal conversation about it even after me admitting that I face camp in my darkest hours
