Enabling EAC for Proton?

I noticed that the EAC patch file was recently added to dbd on Steam, but it isn't yet working through Proton. I suspect this to be because the devs have not enabled the server side component of this change yet.

Is there any official news on when we might be able to expect this?

There is no information concerning this, we have announced about Steamdeck and that we will support the game on Steamdeck - but we have not given any ETA's.

Okay, thank you for this information. I look forward to playing the game on Linux/Deck.
