Body blocking in basement

So i was body blocked in the basement after saving a survivor and we were both body blocked in the stairs for 20 min. Had to back out and lost 2 rank progression. Is there a way to escape this?

    Bodyblocking  (hostage the game) is bannable.

    Although body blocking to wait out the possibility of Borrowed Time is fine, what you described was the killer holding the game hostage. This is reportable in game and is not something that is/should be tolerated.

    Something like bodyblocking in the basement should not be reportable. Instead the Devs are responsible and have to fix this issue.

    Create a float value called "Push".
    When colliding with the killer, the value increases. When not colliding with the killer, the value slowly decreases to 0.
    When the value is let's say X( 30 Seconds), disable killer collision for that survivor for 5 seconds.
    Done. Problem solved.

    Now use X to determine how long a killer should be able to bodyblock or "keep the survivor hostage" and you're done.
    No reason to ban people for something the devs can fix with like 10 lines of code.

    No, but thats a bannable offense.
    Record that for 5-10 minutes (the longer the better) and send it to the support, also dont forget to report ingame
