Need help

So my friend bought me the game a while ago and i played the game for a while tried out characters both survivors and killers but somehow some of these characters dissapears as in i cannot select them ive played The Doctor on a couple of occasions got him to level 9 i believe then tomorrow i log into the game i dont see these characters like Doctor , Pig , Ghostface but my other friend who got the game at the same time i do still have these characters so i am genuinely confuse,,,, please help i dont understand what happen to my account

    You just need to re verify your files because Killers and Survivors don't just vanish. Even if the Killer or Survivor got killswitched thier portrait would be blacked out with a red KILLSWITCHED lable on it.

    i reformated my pc awhile before i post this here and redownloaded the game still dont see those other characters. But as i reinstall the game it did say corrupt file and verify it let me try it again later

    ok i have verified the file i still cannot pick those characters is it like a limited time only?

    Was your friend family sharing the game with you? If so maybe access is revoked now.

    I ask because you said you tried out these characters, you didn't mention purchasing them.

    Oh I didn't think about that Mandy that could be what's going on with his listings....

    It has something to do with Family Sharing probably. If your friend has those DLCs and shares their Steam Library with you, you'll have access to his/her DLCs. And they're probably gone because the sharing stopped. I know because I shared my DLCs with a couple of friends once.
