Why, when the game crashes and the UE crash report box appears, must we also wait the 5 minutes for DCing upon restarting the game?

The game clearly knows the trial was quit early, while giving us the option of reporting a crash, so why can't this game remember why the trial was quit early?

    Because it's very easy to produce a crash intentionally - so the system cannot tell if a crash is intentional or accidental, which is why the DC penalty is applied across the board, as otherwise this would be badly abused.
